GLOBAL FRESH FISH PROGRAM
Through this new program, Holland America Line guarantees fresh fish anytime, anywhere, from port to plate in less than 48 hours. All restaurants on board serve 80 types of locally caught fresh fish worldwide. Chef Masaharu Morimoto is the Fresh Fish ambassador with a Morimoto by Sea pop-up restaurant on every ship. Imagine dishes with fresh lobster, halibut, but also sushi and one of his signature dishes, the tuna pizza.
DUTCH DAY
On every Holland America Line cruise, there will be a Dutch Day to celebrate the Dutch origins. With many culinary favorites and the Dutch dinner in the Dining Room as culinary highlight. Menu choices range from shrimp cocktails, pea soup, sole with lemon butter, stew with steak, poffertjes (small dutch pancakes), tompouce (type pastry) and Daelmans stroopwafels. The popular Orange Party also takes place on Dutch Day.
ENTERTAINMENT
The entertainment offering has been upgraded again. Four productions have been added, as well as a new musical line-up and destination-specific performances. This way you enjoy different music when you cruise in Alaska than when you sail through the Caribbean or Europe. The new productions are Song & Dance (musical numbers), Classic Act (Las Vegas), All That! (60s-80s variety show) and Hey Mr. DJ (pop from the 60s).
