The ship is designed to accommodate 5,610 guests (double occupancy) and 2,350 crew. Royal Caribbean’s new icon features 7 pools and 9 whirlpools, six record-breaking waterslides, an adults-only retreat, the first neighborhood designed for young families, 40-plus ways to dine, drink and be entertained; and many more game-changing features.
The Ultimate Family Townhouse
With 28 ways to stay, even the 2,805 rooms aboard Icon of the Seas are thoughtfully designed for every type of vacationer. It’s come one, come all with more choices, ocean views and exceptional spaces. There are new layouts made for families of three, four, five and more, like the Family Infinite Balcony and Surfside Family Suite – with kids alcoves tucked away from the adults – and the three-story Ultimate Family Townhouse, complete with its own white picket fence and mailbox.
Spanning three levels, the Ultimate Family Townhouse is the perfect home away from home for families of up to eight people.
At 1,772 square feet the Ultimate Family Townhouse is bigger than the two-story Ultimate Family Suites on Symphony of the Seas, Spectrum of the Seas, and Wonder of the Seas.
The unique townhouse offers two bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a dinning room and kitchenette. Additional highlights include an in-suite slide and a cinema space – with large day-bed- that also serves as a private karaoke.
Guests staying in the Ultimate Family Townhouse will enjoy the 410-square-foot balcony on the main level, a more compact 90-square-foot balcony on the second floor, and an impressive 251-square-foot patio.
The main floor offers an expansive dining area with entry to an immense private deck that provides stunning views of the ship’s aft and side. Additionally, there is a hot tub, a cinema, and an interactive screen dining table, allowing guests to relish in-suite dining while engaging in games simultaneously!
A rainbow-colored staircase, which also plays music as people walk up and down, takes guests to the upper level. This level houses two bedrooms, one for adults and the other for kids. The master bedroom has a king bed and private bathroom. The kid’s bedroom features two bunk beds and a double sofa bed.
The private patio on the lower level features a ping-pong table, cozy seating, and exclusive access to the Surfside Family Neighborhood. Positioned at the aft on Deck 7, the Surfside Family Neighborhood is the ultimate onboard family fun zone where guests can spend the entire day exploring the splash pad, wading pools, carousel, and enjoy delicious meals at the Surfside Eatery for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Guests who book the Ultimate Family Townhouse can expect the epitome of family luxury in the Star Class suite. The suite encompasses top-tier advantages and exclusive perks including a Royal Genie, free WiFi, a complimentary drink package, laundry and pressing services, and more.
Among the remarkable features, the Royal Genie service stands out as a unique and invaluable offering. Functioning as a blend of butler and magic maker, the Royal Genie significantly enhances the onboard experience, ensuring a VIP experience at every turn. Although there’s no predefined list of Royal Genie benefits, the Genie possesses the power to expedite access to virtually everything on the ship. From securing prime seating at shows to arranging for specialty restaurant delicacies to be delivered to the suite, enjoying unlimited Starbucks beverages, and even coordinating a personalized party in the suite, the Genie can make all those dreams come true.
Additional perks of reserving the Ultimate Family Townhouse include gratuities, priority embarkation and disembarkation, and access to the exclusive Suite neighborhood.
Of course the biggest suite onboard Icon of the Seas comes with a pretty high price. Booking the multilevel townhouse will set you back on average of $75,000 to $100,000 a week. And if you think that’s too expensive, the suite is fully booked for 2024.
