Costa Cruises‘ Around-the-World cruise is back! The Italian company’s beloved cruise for travel enthusiasts sets sail on 6 January from Trieste (Italy) on board the Costa Deliziosa, ending on 11 May in Marghera/Venice. As the voyage follows in the footsteps of the great navigators of the past, in just over 4 months, guests will visit 52 different destinations in 34 countries, spread across 5 continents, crossing 3 oceans.
Costa was one of the first companies in the world to offer this extraordinary voyage, back in the 1970s, but the 2024 edition is one of the most successful ever with more than 2,000 guests booked, mostly from France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and Austria.
Over the 134 days of its planned voyage, Costa Deliziosa will circumnavigate the globe, always sailing westwards. From Italy, she will cross the Atlantic to the Caribbean, visiting France, Spain, Morocco and the Canary Islands, before passing through the Panama Canal and exploring Ecuador, Chile, Peru and Easter Island. From there she will cross the Pacific, touching Polynesia, to reach Australia; she will head north to Japan and South Korea, before heading west again, visiting Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India, Oman, Jordan and returning to Italy.
A dream that comes true for all travelers and cruise enthusiasts, who will be able to enjoy a unique experience, discovering magnificent cultures and landscapes. For those who were not able to book a cabin on this edition, there are still cabins available for the Around-the-World cruise 2025, which will circumnavigate the globe mainly in the southern hemisphere, visiting Brazil, Tierra del Fuego, Polynesia, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and Namibia. For the first time, the departure will be at the beginning of December 2024, on 7 December from Trieste – with the possibility of embarking also in Catania, Civitavecchia/Rome, Savona, Marseille and Barcelona – to enjoy the Christmas holidays on a cruise. New Year’s Eve in Rio de Janeiro will be very special, with fireworks display from Copacabana beach.
