Princess Cruises makes savings package ‘Princess Plus’ permanent

Princess Cruises has announced that its onboard savings package will now be available on all bookings going forward. The package was previously introduced as a limited time offer but has been extended due to the high number of guests who have opted to include it as part of their booking.

To enhance the onboard experience for guests sailing with Princess Cruises, the cruise line had decided to make its savings package a permanent fixture, giving people the chance to make the most of their holiday while saving money at the same time.

The package, which has been named ‘Princess Plus’, will maintain its current price and covers premium drinks, unlimited Wi-Fi and gratuities.

Tony Roberts, vice president Princess Cruises UK & Europe, said: “The demand for Princess Plus has been phenomenal and shows no sign of slowing down.”

The premium drinks package includes cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, coffee and tea. Guests who prefer soft drinks or are under the drinking age can take advantage of the likes of fruit juices, mocktails and smoothies.

Princess Cruises is able to offer unlimited WiFi as part of the savings package due to an increasing number of ships being upgraded to ‘MedallionNet’, which incorporates next-generation onboard technology to offer the line’s fastest and most reliable Wi-Fi at sea.

  1. Love Princess. Will be on the Sky Baltic Cruise in April, and on the Royal in September for my fourth cruise to Alaska. I have also booked the Sky in April 2021, from Ft. Lauderdale to Copenhagen. Looking forward to all 3 cruises.

    1. Hey Pasty, that sounds amazing and we look forward to hear all about those cruises!

  2. We lost three cruises during a major cruise adventure this month. After flying home we have rebooked three more and will have 4 cruises in the next 10 months. Cant fault Princess attitude to lost cruises because of the virus.

    1. Hi Brian, So sorry to hear about that, but you are right the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation is out of the hands of the cruise lines (or any other vacation provider). We can only hope the situaton will be under control as soon as possible. Safe traveling!
