Everybody knows what it feels like to have a great holiday come to an end. Fortunately we discovered the best way to extend our American vacation, and beat some of the inevitable jetlag. So instead of flying home we again decided to take our time and cruise across the Atlantic Ocean on board the biggest cruise ship in the world Allure of the Seas. For 13 days stateroom 10324 was our home away from home.
We joined the ‘cabin crawl’ to see how the other people live…
We discovered some of our fellow cruisers live life in purple.
While others cruise in a more ‘royal’ style, hence the royal suite…
… or the crown loft suite.
Upon arrival in Barcelona, Allure Of The Seas went in dry dock. In preparation for this some work was already being done during the atlantic crossing.
All over the ship you could see the signs, hear the noise, see the dust or smell the work that was being done. As our cabin was located near the back of the ship, we could clearly hear the banging and welding that was going on, making our balcony completely unusable.
