The Celebrity Xcel, the fifth and final ship in the Edge class from Celebrity Cruises, is scheduled for launch in late 2025. While expected to share similarities with its predecessors, the Celebrity Xcel is anticipated to offer unique features and innovations.

The Edge class has revolutionized the mainstream cruise industry with innovative features. The Infinite Balconies, floor-to-ceiling windows that can be opened to create a true indoor-outdoor living space, are a prime example. Other highlights include Eden, a transformative space that serves as a theater, bar, and restaurant, and the Magic Carpet, a cantilevered platform that moves along the side of the ship and can be used as a lounge, restaurant, or tender launch area.

The Celebrity Xcel will also feature successful elements from previous ships, such as the Retreat suite complex, the lush Rooftop Garden on the top deck, and the popular Sunset Bar. Preliminary deck plans suggest the impressive Iconic Suites, Penthouse Suites, and Edge Villas will return, offering guests spacious and luxurious accommodations. With a capacity of 3,250 passengers, this ship promises to continue Celebrity Cruises’ legacy of innovative and stylish cruising.

Onboard the Disney Destiny, the focus is on the exciting confrontation between heroes and villains. While the Grand Hall of the ship will feature an impressive statue of Black Panther, Spider-Man and his spider-bots will adorn the bow of the ship. In addition to the thrilling themes, the Disney Destiny offers a range of new facilities. Guests can embark on a culinary journey through the world of Disney at the new Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King restaurant, where the magic of “The Lion King” comes to life. For those seeking a more relaxed atmosphere, there’s the chic De Vil’s piano lounge, inspired by Cruella de Vil, and The Sanctum, a mystical lounge inspired by Doctor Strange. Additionally, returning favorites include The Worlds of Marvel and 1923, as well as the exclusive adult-only restaurants Palo Steakhouse and Enchante. The exciting AquaMouse water slide will provide plenty of aquatic fun.

Disney Destiny will offer four- and five-night cruises to the Bahamas and the Western Caribbean.

Weighing in at 208,000 tons and with a capacity of 6,700 passengers, this ship will set a new standard for Disney cruises. The largest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Adventure was originally intended for Dream Cruises, an Asian cruise line that went bankrupt in 2022. Disney Adventure will be the first Disney cruise ship to sail from Singapore, catering to both local and international guests.

Disney Adventure features seven unique themed areas, including the enchanting Disney Imagination Garden, the vibrant San Fransokyo Street, and the exciting Marvel Landing. Guests can also explore the world of Disney princesses in Town Square, while Wayfinder Bay offers a tranquil oasis with a pool and stunning ocean views. Star Seeker – Windstar Cruises

After years of anticipation, Windstar Cruises is adding a brand-new ship to its fleet: the Star Seeker. Unlike the previously acquired ships, the Star Seeker is entirely new and has been customized to fit Windstar’s unique style. The Star Seeker, with a capacity of 224 passengers and a weight of 9,315 tons, will perfectly complement Windstar’s intimate ship experience. The ship boasts 112 spacious suites, nearly all with private balconies or balcony-like spaces. The intimate atmosphere is further enhanced by the presence of five diverse dining options, a full-service spa, a fitness center, and Windstar’s signature Watersports Platform, providing guests with direct access to the ocean.

The Star Seeker will embark on its maiden voyage in December 2025, sailing from Malaga, Spain to Miami, Florida. Following the christening ceremony in Miami, the ship will explore the Caribbean before heading to the West Coast of the United States for a season of Alaskan cruises.
