Diamond Princess kicked off her Singapore season this past week after arriving from Japan. Diamond Princess’ Singapore season features 10- to 14-day cruises in the region from December 2023 to March 2024.
For December 2023, Diamond Princess will sail two 10-day cruises that visit Koh Samui & Laem Chabang (Bangkok) in Thailand as well as Phu My (Ho Chi Minh City) and Da Nang in Vietnam. Revellers can celebrate Christmas eve in Koh Samui on this cruise whilst Christmas Day will be spent at sea. For the next cruise departing on December 26, guests can celebrate New Year’s Eve in Ho Chi Minh City.
Fourteen-day Malaysia, Thailand & Vietnam cruises will be the highlight in January and February 2024. These cruises will take guests along Straits of Melaka, visiting Langkawi and Penangin Malaysia, as well as Phuket in Thailand. After which, the ship will sail the South China Sea, visiting Koh Samui, as well as Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trangin Vietnam.
The February 6 cruise will give guests the opportunity to celebrate Chinese New Year which falls on February 10 and 11, marking the start of the Year of the Dragon, where the ship will be in Penang and Port Klang. For a bit of romance, guests can celebrate Valentine’s Day in Nha Trang, a beautiful coastal resort city in southern Vietnam which is also known as the country’s seafood capital.
Diamond Princess will then end her Singapore season with a 13-day repositioning cruise from Singapore to Yokohama on March 5, 2024. The ship will arrive on March 18, in time for Japan’s cherry blossom season, and the start of her Japan 2024 season.
Diamond Princess features several Japanese-themed facilities onboard such as a Japanese specialty restaurant with an authentic sushi bar. Diamond Princess also features the largest open-air Japanese bath at sea – an 8,800 sq. ft bath and garden complex, offering indoor and outdoor Japanese bathing experiences including steam rooms, saunas and hot tubs with spectacular ocean vistas.
Two Princess ships to call on Singapore in 2024
Coral Princess will sail a 33-day Southeast Asia, Hawaii and Pacific Crossing cruise from Singapore to Los Angeles in October 2024, visiting destinations in Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Hawaii before arriving in Los Angeles. This segment also offers a 12-night sailing from Singapore to Fremantle (Perth, Australia).
Island Princess’ World Cruise will visit Singapore on February 29, 2024 from Australia, after which the ship will sail on to Dubai. Guests can choose to sail on the 11-day cruise from Singapore to Dubai. Island Princess will return to Singapore again for its 2025 World Cruise.
One of the newest Princess ships, Discovery Princess, will be making her maiden call to Singapore in October 2025 whilst on her way to Australia for her deployment Down Under.
