Princess Cruises is celebrating her 10th anniversary in Southeast Asia with the return of Diamond Princess to Singapore. The ship will homeport in Singapore from December 2023 to March 2024.
Princess Cruises will be celebrating two important milestones in Singapore and Southeast Asia. To celebrate the line’s 10-year anniversary in Southeast Asia, Diamond Princess will be returning to Singapore for 10 to 14-day cruises in the region from December 2023 to March 2024.
Some of the ports that will be visited include those in Thailand – Koh Samui, Phuket & Laem Chabang (Bangkok); Vietnam – Danang/Hue, Phu My (Ho Chi Minh City) & Na Trang and Malaysia – Penang, Port Klang & Langkawi. Guests on these cruises will be able to celebrate the various festivities such as Christmas, new year, Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day onboard and at the various ports.
Diamond Princess will be making two repositioning cruises for the Singapore deployment. The first is a 15-day repositioning cruise from Yokohama that will arrive in Singapore on 16 December, 2023 and will visit Osaka, Toba, Keelung (Taipei), Hong Kong, Da Nang, Na Trang and Phu My (Ho Chi Minh City).
Diamond Princess will then end her Singapore deployment with a 13-day repositioning cruise from Singapore to Yokohama on 5 March, 2024. The ship will arrive on 18 March, in time for Japan’s cherry blossom season, and the start of her Japan 2024 season.

Other 2024 sailings
After its Singapore season, Diamond Princess will return to Japan from March through August 2024. In addition, Royal Princess will make her Japan debut in 2024, marking the first Royal-Class ship to sail in the region. The series of longer duration cruises offer many opportunities to view the magnificent spring flowers, as well as four breath-taking summer festivals.
Besides Japan, Princess Cruises stated that its most popular cruises amongst its Southeast Asian guests are to Alaska and Europe. The cruise line celebrates 55 years of sailing in Alaska in 2024. where seven ships will depart from four home ports, including San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, B.C., and Whittier. For Europe 2024, Princess will feature five ships including Sun Princess.
