Situated near one of the most fashionable and exclusive shopping areas of Brussels,The Hotel is a not to miss landmark in the European capital. It’s central location means most major attractions are only a short walk away. The European quarter can be reached by public transport in a few minutes.
Containing 27 floors, the 94 metres high building housing The Hotel was built in the late 1960’s. It is the highest public viewpoint in Brussels. The hotel underwent a complete restauration in 2013 before welcoming it’s most famous guest in march 2014. US President Barack Obama spent the night in one of the 421 rooms, probably staying in one of the splendour suites.
We were more than happy to spend a night in one of the Deluxe Panorama rooms located on floors 16 through 24. All rooms in The Hotel offer guests a complimentary fridge with water, wine, beer, fruit juice & soft drinks. In addition our fridge included 2 bottles of wine. Staying in a Deluxe Panorama room also means you get complimentary breakfast and access to the Panorama Lounge with free drinks and snacks. The Deluxe Panorama room features an open bathroom offering bath products from C.O. Bigelow, the oldest apothecary in America founded in 1838 in New York.
The Urban Spa & Fitness located on the 23rd floor offers great panoramic views of Brussels.
The Panorama Lounge on the 24th floor is the ideal place to sit and browse through one of the many fashion books, have a drink and snack or enjoy the views of the city…
Though we normally do not stay at hotels this close to home we can say that this was our first but definitely not our last stay at The Hotel. Not only do we really like the interior and atmosphere of the rooms and hotel in general, the facilities the hotel offers guarantee an enjoyable and relaxed getaway.
